Hey guys, do you remember that ComedyCoup contest we told you about? Well, we just found out that our show, Super Legal, has made it into the Top 100 finalists!
We’re pretty stoked at the idea of bringing our superhero comedy stylings to television and we hope you are too. If you want to learn more about ComedyCoup and Super Legal we’ve set up a helpful About page with a lot of details over on our Super Legal tumblr that you can check out here.
If you just want to know how you can help us win ComedyCoup, well, you’re our kind of people and we’ll tell you right now!
By voting (we do not need money!)
1) The very best way to help us win is to REGISTER as a fan on ComedyCoup and FOLLOW us (on the ComedyCoup site) so you’ll be able to vote to help us move forward in the competition. Only registered fans can vote in ComedyCoup, so don’t be denied your rights, go sign up now! Here’s how:
Step 1 - Go to http://comedycoup.cbc.ca/cc/canada-2014
Step 2 - Register as a “Fan”
Step 3 - Visit the Super Legal project page and watch our 90 second trailer (you won’t regret it, so funny): http://comedycoup.cbc.ca/superlegal
Step 4 - Follow our project page, rate our video, share, comment, tell us we’re pretty, it all helps our chances of winning and our egos.
Step 5 - Watch for VOTING PERIODS and vote for Super Legal (very important!)
Step 6 - If you’re really cool and want to be the absolute best fan then you can also compete in the ComedyCoup “Fan Missions” where you watch and rate other projects to earn EXTRA voting points. With extra points your vote counts for way more than other people’s. They call it being a “Super-Fan”. We call it a skewed system of democracy that we encourage you to take advantage of!
2) If you’re looking for something a little easier, you can also help Super Legal by simply sharing the link to our ComedyCoup page, or following us on Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr and sharing some of our content to help get the word out. Seriously, that would help a bunch. ComedyCoup considers fan interaction a vital component when choosing the winners so every follow/like helps.
So go check us out on ComedyCoup, rate us, follow, share and spread the word.
But most of all, drink lots of water and stay hydrated. You guys are important to us and we want you to take care of yourselves. (Seriously though, thanks guys, your support means a lot.)
The creators of Texts from Superheroes are proud to present their new series, Super Legal, created as part of ComedyCoup, a ten week competition to pitch a new comedy show to CBC.
What’s Super Legal about?
Super Legal is the story of Devin Struct, a hero-hating lawyer by day and a super villain by night … well … one night. His super villain career is cut short by Captain Eagle, as well as multiple concussions, and now Devin has to pay for his crimes by being released into Captain Eagle’s custody. Shunned by the villain community, Devin has to start a new business. Something more legal. Maybe even, Super Legal.
Cool. Can we see it?
Some of it, yeah! The trailer is up right now on Super Legal’s official ComedyCoup page for your eyeballs to feast upon, so go check it out.
Did you watch it? Did you like it? Want to see more?
If you answered yes to any of that, here’s what you can do: click like on our ComedyCoup page and then tell people about it.
Seriously, that’s all we need. The ComedyCoup competition considers fan interaction as one of the criteria for the winners. So login, rate us, follow us, share, comment, tell us we’re pretty, it all helps to get Super Legal made and onto your television screens.
You can follow Super Legal on Tumblr, Twitter or Facebook to keep up to date on our progress and to see the results of our weekly “missions” assigned by ComedyCoup.
But most importantly, go check out our trailer. It’s got explosions!
